Jake Joseph Richardson

With a strong aptitude for design and problem-solving, Jake has a deep passion for the making process. His work seeks to explore not only how we make, but also why we make.
Jake studied Architecture at Newcastle University, followed by a Master’s in Architecture at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University. He completed his formal training with a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice in Architecture at Cambridge University, qualifying as an architect. He is also a certified Passivhaus Designer and Retrofit Coordinator.
His professional career spans a variety of leading practices, including AHR, Farrells, Nicholas Hare, and Mitchell Eley Gould, working across sectors ranging from housing and education to office, master planning, and transport. Jake’s achievements have been recognised with the West of England LABC Construction Specialist Award and the Bath Property Awards Rising Star Award.
Outside of architecture, Jake enjoys travelling to new places with his wife, has a passion for dogs and good food, and is an avid runner—having recently completed the Bath Half Marathon.
Harriet Richardson
BA PGCE MA
Harriet’s role is centred around administration, drawing on her experience of running a family business. She also leads on community outreach, engaging local communities in the projects she supports.
She studied Human Geography and International Relations at Lancaster University before completing a Primary PGCE and a Master’s in Education at Durham University. Harriet went on to work in primary schools for several years, developing a passion for educating and inspiring others.
Outside of work, Harriet enjoys baking, exploring new places, and bringing her own creative ideas to life through craft projects.
